Happy Memorial Weekend! Join Off the Mall Tours for it’s latest walk: Echoes of the Navy Yard. The Navy Yard is DC’s oldest neighborhood, and was also one of the largest sources of employment, the entry point into the capital, the final destination of DC’s first mass transit system, and much more. Tour begins at the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro (Green Line), ends at the Capital Waterfront Park and should last around 2 hours. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children. **note that this tour does NOT go into the actual Navy Yard, which is an operating military facility.
