Thursday, September 30 at 6:00PM (virtual) – Dine to Defeat ALS:
Chef Kevin Tien will be participating in the annual Dine to Defeat ALS event honoring Mark Ein, CEO and Founder of Venturehouse Group, which will be taking place virtually this year. Join Kevin, alongside other top chefs, as he leads a cooking lesson to prepare one of his signature Vietnamese dishes, followed by a live cocktail demonstrations, and a live auction with proceeds going to the fight against ALS. Participants will be sent meal kits in advance, and will be set up in intimate video groups for the live cooking lessons. Dinner Packages can be booked here. Monday, October 25 at 6:30PM – James Beard Foundation’s Taste America:
Taste America is a nationwide initiative to bring together chefs and diners to support the local restaurants rebuilding a more sustainable and equitable industry. The Taste America Washington, D.C. dinner will be hosted at Moon Rabbit, offering guests an intimate gathering with delicious foods from some of the city’s top chefs. Chefs Kevin Tien of Moon Rabbit, Tim Ma of Lucky Danger, and Paola Velez of Bakers Against Racism, will prepare a multi-course menu that reflects their signature styles, and highlights the uniqueness of their restaurants and the Washington, D.C. community. The dinner will also include beverage pairings for each course as well as a swag bag to take home. Tickets can be booked here. ($300 per pair)
