Fire Prevention Month Demonstration: Lowe’s – 2438 Market Street NE

In honor of Fire Prevention Month, First Alert is partnering with Lowe’s on an educational demonstration for the community to learn about the importance of fire safety before a disaster strikes. DC families are invited to attend the free event, which will include the city’s first responders, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the 2438 Market Street NE Lowe’s location. Activities are designed to teach community members about installing smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms in their homes, planning and practicing a fire escape plan, and operating a fire extinguisher.
