In our brand new Flower Power workshop, Juniors will learn about the science and language of flowers by exploring Dumbarton House’s museum and garden! Juniors will learn about the parts and uses of flowers during the Federal period, make their own paper flowers, and learn about “floriography” or the secret language of flowers. This program will cover all 5 steps to earn the Flowers Badge. We do not provide badges, but do hand out Dumbarton House patches.
Register your Girl Scout here by selecting “Register for a Girl Scout Badge Workshop” on the Google Form. In-person programs are $15/Girl Scout and $5 per adult. Payment can be made by calling (202) 337-2288 ext.2222.
Interested in scheduling a private Girl Scout program on a date and time of your choosing just for your troop? In this form, select “Request a private Girl Scout Workshop.” There is a minimum of $60 (e.g. 6 Girl Scouts) for private programs.
