On April 9th, 2024, Mason Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Lisa Billingham, and in collaboration with Mason School of Engineering, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mason faculty and alumni, presents “Flying to the Stars: Da Vinci and Beyond.” This unique, modern, and technically innovative concert epitomizes a collaborative effort. A multi-media concert experience will take contemporary choral performance to the next level. Featuring two major works from renowned composers Jocelyn Hagen and Eric Whitacre and original compositions by Mason faculty and alumni, “Flying to the Stars” will surely excite and inspire audiences’ imaginations and spark engaging conversation.
