September is Child Passenger Safety Month, making it a great time for a quick car seat safety refresh – especially since reports show that 73 percent of car seats are not used or installed correctly. This is why the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, SafeKids and Graco have teamed up to offer a free car seat safety check to Washington, DC residents. On Saturday, September 29 in Washington, DC, Child Safety Passenger Technicians will be on-site to demonstrate proper car seat installations, answer common car seat questions and share tips that ensure children are correctly buckled into the car seat.
