Free Film on Holy Land Conflict

April 8, 2018 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm UTC+0

Free

On Sunday April 8, the film “Roadmap to Apartheid” will be shown at 2:30 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 400 I [“eye”] Street SW, in Washington, DC. This documentary examines the apartheid analogy commonly used to describe the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Narrated by Alice Walker (author of “The Color Purple”), the film reviews the rise and fall of apartheid in South Africa and reveals why many Palestinians feel they are living in an apartheid system today, and why, increasingly, people around the world agree with them. All showings in the Voices from the Holy Land film series are free, start promptly, and are followed by moderated discussion. Contact 301-395-6178. Please visit www.voicesfromtheholyland.org
