On Sunday March 18th there will be a showing of two short films about the Israel-Palestine conflict: “Gaza: A Gaping Wound,” and “Gaza In Context.” The first film combines lecture, animation, typography, and footage from Palestine. The second film gives the perspectives of survivors of Israel’s 2014 war on Gaza, which claimed the lives of 2,200, injured 11,000 more, and left 100,000 homeless. The showing begins at 2:30 pm at Ravensworth Baptist Church, 5100 Ravensworth Road, in Annandale, Virginia 22003. It will be followed by a moderated discussion. Admission and parking are free.
