On November 2, 2024, join the American Heart Association, Greater Washington Region for the annual Heart Walk, happening at the National Mall. Thousands of walkers, many of whom have survived a lifechanging heart event, live with a heart condition, or love someone who’s affected by cardiovascular disease, will convene to learn about how to protect their heart health and support the American Heart Association’s lifesaving mission. The morning event includes a 1- and 3-mile walking course, a fitness demo, a pet party – and sessions on how to perform hands-only CPR and save a life. Here’s more information.
