Harpsichord Concert: Bryon Schenkman performs Haydn & Contemporaries at Capriccio Baroque

Enjoy a delightful Program of lovely, elegant harpsichord music written in the early Classical style. This concert includes gorgeous keyboard Sonatas and a Fantasia by Joseph Haydn, one of the most important proponents of the Classical Style; Sonatas by two women composers – Anna Bon and Marie-Emmanuelle Bayon – who were renowned in their time; and music by a brilliant biracial man of color, Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint Georges, who conducted the Paris Opera and wrote opera and instrumental music in the court of Marie Antoinette.
