Since 2001, the March of Dimes has honored 126 “heroines” and raised over $3.64 million in support of the March of Dimes mission. March of Dimes aims to advance research to support the health of all mothers and premature babies, leading programs and providing education and advocacy so that every baby can have the best possible start.
For nearly 20 years, March of Dimes has hosted the annual Heroines of Washington awards gala to recognize and honor professional women in the DC Metro Area. Building on a successful 80-year legacy of impact and innovation, March of Dimes empowers every mom and every family.
