Celebrate Independence Day with a getaway to Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay!
On Tuesday, July 4, the resort will host its 20th Annual Watermelon Eating Contest. That evening, the resort will feature an All-American BBQ prepared by the resort’s culinary team, followed by the town’s fireworks display that will be viewable from various areas of the resort. The property will also showcase Independence Day décor including a flag that has flown in the United States Capital building.
Between Friday, June 30 and Wednesday, July 5, the resort will feature a variety of family activities and carnival games on its spacious Manor Lawn. Guests can enjoy ring toss, bowling, yard pong, croquet, tug-o-war, lawn darts, giant Jenga, bocce, and more. The resort will also feature on-site bouncy houses and a schedule of hourly activities including kickball, whiffle ball, boardwalk racing, an inflatable obstacle course, a cornhole tournament, tie dye shirt making, and more.
