Reminisce with an inter-generational cast and revisit technology pushed away over time. Story fragments tell of attachments to cassette tape, VHS, paper dolls, IBM 3033, Shorthand notation and other blips on the relentless march of cultural change; fond recollections of Barbie’s, GameBoys and the “Shoot the Duck” position of roller skating.
Also on the program “Auto Audio” a parking lot romp to music by local composer David Schulman and surf guitar “Apache” by The Shadows; Dancers engulf the parking lot using car headlights as illumination, and a sound system from a hatchback.
Recent works by Emily Crews, and Rebecca Weiss round out the program.
