With a career spanning almost four decades, Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell is one of the most celebrated artists of our era—and a perennial Washington Performing Arts favorite. Having performed with the world’s great orchestras and collaborated with a “who’s who” of fellow artists across a great range of genres, Bell continues to maintain an active performance schedule as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, conductor, and music director of Britain’s esteemed Academy of St Martin in the Fields. He returns in recital this February, once again to share what the New York Times has aptly dubbed his “trademark glowing sound, effortless virtuosity, and improvisatory freedom.”
