Do you know where Finland, the happiest country in the world, is located? During the Kids Euro Festival, in Minecraft! Come and learn about gaming, creativity and Finland!
School of Gaming aims at teaching kids problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and social skills with the help of gaming and professional game educators. At Kids Euro Festival, School of Gaming provides children as gamers with the opportunity to build their own piece of Finland in Minecraft with the help of a game educator. While building their own lot of land in virtual Finland, gamers will learn about Finland, Finnish language and culture in an entertaining and captivating way. The gaming session practices creativity, positive communication, and recognizing one’s own strengths.
There will be six gaming sessions during Kids Euro Festival:
Tuesday, October 20, from 4 pm to 6 pm
Tuesday, October 27, from 4 pm to 6 pm
Tuesday, November 3, from 4 pm to 6 pm
Tuesday, November 10, from 4 pm to 6 pm
Tuesday, November 17, from 4 pm to 6 pm
Tuesday, November 24, from 4 pm to 6 pm
The sessions open 10 minutes before the live gaming starts.
You can participate in multiple gaming sessions if you would like, there is no need to choose just one.
Those who do not have access to a computer with a Minecraft license can follow the gaming session via a livestream on YouTube.
This event is organized by The Embassy of Finland, the School of Gaming and National Children’s Museum
