Born in1981 in a small town in Poland, Kuropaczewski studied guitar with Piotr Zaleski from the age of 10. He received his master’s degree from the Academy of Music in Wroclaw, Poland then came to the USA on a full scholarship to study with Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, Md.
He now has performed in Asia, Latin America, Europe and North America in solo, orchestral and chamber concerts, often premiering works by Polish composers.
We heartily welcome Lukasz for his debut performance with the John E. Marlow Guitar Series. The evening’s performance will include works by Giuliani, Ponce, Llobet, Paganini and Neikrug.
