These three recent restorations of feature films from the 1980s highlight the work of iconic and seasoned filmmakers Miloš Forman, Wim Wenders, and Robert Frank. With their own disparate yet impressive filmographies well established by the ’80s, each director’s interest in exploring desire through character, landscape, and sound design are reflected in this series.
