Sitar Arts Center’s Cafritz Gallery is proud to present “Introspective” by Héctor Rafael. His series consists of graphite drawings and oil paintings which explore themes of mental health and self-identity. Dive into the many layers of “Introspective.”
Héctor Rafael is a Puerto Rican visual artist, arts educator, and mental health advocate. His work is renowned for its mix of vibrancy, rich colors, and incredible details. This series is dedicated to his journey of self-discovery, which he embarked on at the start of the pandemic, based on his life experiences. Get ready to connect with this series and discover new things about yourself!
“Introspective” will be displayed at Sitar Arts Center’s Cafritz Gallery from September 26 – November 1, 2024. The gallery is located at 1700 Kalorama Road NW, Suite 101, Washington, D.C., and is open Monday through Friday, from noon – 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays, from 10:00 a.m. – noon.
