The Duke Ellington School of the Arts Vocal and Instrumental Departments will feature An Evening at the Opera on Saturday, May 4th. On Friday, May 3rd, at 10 AM they will present a shorter version of the show. The concert will feature senior vocalists in the Principal roles in various scenes from operas, along with a few other musical styles. They will be accompanied by the underclassmen vocalists as the chorus and a live pit orchestra. The costumes are from the Kennedy Center’s collection.
