Washington DC metro area artists Ric Garcia and Fierce Sonia imagine worlds where comic book and fairy tale heroes and heroines are deconstructed and reframed to explore the rhythm of modern life and the differences between genders. Enjoy a nostalgic and trippy shout out to the 1960s and 1970s as the artists present the dreams, fears and hopes of each gender, while at times, having a bit of tongue in cheek fun with the topics. Exhibition Opening: Saturday, October 10, 4 – 6 pm. For your health and safety, access to the exhibit will comply with CDC and local health guidelines due to COVID 19, which currently requires wearing face coverings in the gallery and a limit on the number of visitors at one time.
