Walls of Respect is a new documentary honoring the life and work of Norman Parish, Jr., whose Georgetown gallery showcased international African-American art when few galleries did the same. This film will explore Parish’s artistic legacy through interviews with past exhibitors, family, friends, collectors, and art professionals, and the impact of Parish’s work on artists and the District’s ethnic arts culture.
A special pre-screening reception with the filmmakers and honored guests will be held on Monday, June 6 at 6 PM, followed by the premiere of the film at 7 PM.
Tickets to the reception are $50 and available via
