Silencing the Inner Critic, Friday Night Lecture

May 15, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm UTC-5

$6.00 – $12.

Many of us have a tendency to be excessively self-critical, self doubting, and lacking confidence. These debilitating thoughts can affect our relationships, our work, and our ability to realize our full potential in life. In this class, we will learn how to use meditation to free ourselves from self critical thoughts, negative self-perceptions, and feelings of discouragement.
GUIDED MEDITATION
Each class begins with guided breathing meditation, to help settle the mind, let go of distractions and cultivate inner peace.

TEACHING
Gen Demo will then give a practical teaching based on the topic of the class series and explain how we can integrate Buddha’s timeless wisdom into our busy daily lives.

CONCLUDING MEDITATION
The class concludes with a guided meditation to help us mix our mind with the teaching and take it to heart. There is also an opportunity to ask questions.Registration will open five (5) days before event.

This online course is available to anyone who would have the intention to attend the talk in person at KMC DC if it were possible.
