Think Local First DC presents the 2017 Local First Awards on Thursday, November 9th – conferring honors on high impact local businesses, entrepreneurs and artists. The inaugural awards event kicks off at Blind Whino SW Arts Club for a uniquely-DC celebration that brings the city together to spotlight the District’s diverse community of entrepreneurs, creatives, artists and makers that invigorate our local economy.
By mid-October, Think Local First DC will publicly announce 35 award finalists in seven impact categories and a panel of distinguished business and community leaders will select the winners.
The only way to find out who wins is to attend the Local First Awards! After the awards ceremony concludes, attendees will enjoy an all-out DC dance party, at Blind Whino SW Arts Club, featuring a Made In DC marketplace, artist installations, culinary pop-ups and craft beverages from local breweries including DC Brau.
