During these difficult times when many of our local eateries have struggled, we are proud to host this Living Room Series on our platform as a way to reach out to the community for support. The series will provide an incredible event hosted virtually, while viewers eat delicious food, and listen to an amazing musician, all while raising money to help save the local restaurant industry. The Avenue Live Series will feature different restaurants, live performing artists, and charities with each future installment. Next stop, Washington DC.

The Event’s Host: Sergio Vitale, the son of Aldo and a big personality in the Baltimore food scene.
Event Goals:
-Provide a platform for restaurants to generate income through a virtual night of entertainment.
-Highlight musical artists that have lost their ability to perform at live venues.
-Sell food packages for the evening to build a community event around delicious food.
-Celebrate Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano’s 23rd anniversary.
-Raise money for the Famous Fund

We are committed, locally, to providing relief for as many restaurants as possible in the city of Baltimore. Unfortunately, Baltimore City has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 shutdowns. The current mayor of Baltimore suspended indoor and outdoor dining for six weeks in an effort to combat rising COVID-19 infections. At the same time, many small, family-owned and operated restaurants in the city of Baltimore were forced to close, restaurants in our surrounding counties were allowed to stay open with upwards of 50% indoor dining and 100% outdoor dining. Sadly, many restaurants have already been dealt a fatal blow and have shut their doors.
How TheAvenue.Live platform works:
The Avenue welcomes all performers to our virtual live streaming platform. Our goal from inception has been to democratize live streaming to celebrate artists and fans. We do this by removing all obstacles, enabling our artists to perform without limits and fans to view these performances without restriction or cost.
To our fans, we ask that you show your appreciation to our performers by leaving a tip to support their art and effort. Share great performances with those you care about and most of all, celebrate life with us on The Avenue. To our performers, our Avenue is a place that welcomes you. Enjoy the space we have built for you…for you are the person in the arena who we come to celebrate.
