This event is to raise funds and awareness for young displaced mothers and their children who reside in the Turning Point Center for Women and Children located in Washington, D.C. Mothers ages 18-28 are accepted into the program. Typically, these mothers have aged out of the foster care system or have been turned out into the streets. The goal, this year, is to raise funds to purchase new furniture for all 28 units in the center. Doors open at 10:45 a.m. with limited reserve seating. Pre-luncheon activities include the sale of Hermes and designer new and vintage scarves ($150), ticket exchange for beautiful, robust baskets (10 tickets/$100), door prizes and more. An event that includes luxury brand items to tickle your fancy.
