The Washington Chorus Presents: “Tomorrow!” A Reflection On Hope and Resilience

October 29, 2022 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm EDT

$25 – $49

“TOMORROW!” A REFLECTION ON HOPE AND RESILIENCE is a visual and immersive experience featuring the live choral work of Damien Geter’s “Cantata for a More Hopeful Tomorrow” and Emmy award-winner Bob Berg’s innovative film of the same title. Internationally acclaimed projection artist Camilla Tassi brings fresh treatment to the film as it is reimagined for this fully immersive visual and choral experience. Piotr Szyhalski’s powerful art installation, Staying Alive To Life, allows audiences to engage in continued reflection on our shared experiences of the past two years.

The Washington Chorus, led by Artistic Director Eugene Rogers, is joined by native Washingtonian cellist Élise Sharp of the world-renowned String Queens, and Grammy award-winning soprano Nicole Joseph.

Please note that while seating is available and the experience is fully physically accessible, “Tomorrow!” is far more than a traditional seated concert. You are encouraged to spend the hour-long experience wandering through and interacting with the music, film, and art exhibit throughout the building. “Tomorrow!” will surround you in expressions of the emotions from the past two years and engage you to reflect on and share your own experiences through interactive artmaking. Together we will share in the emotions of fear, loss, resilience, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
