Pushing past traditional genres, progressive bluegrass collective Trampled By Turtles and punk-influenced Americana band Deer Tick are redefining the crossover landscape. The “rich vocal harmonies, unbelievably intricate and fast fiddle solos, and ever-present strumming mandolin and banjo” (Consequences of Sound) of Trampled By Turtles along with the Jekyll and Hyde balancing act of acoustic roots and electric rock of Deer Tick are best experienced live.
