Washington, D.C. (February 5, 2021) – Leaders from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Philips invite veterans and their families and caregivers to join a virtual seminar on the VA’s COVID-19 vaccination rollout plan for veterans and their caregivers on February 9 at 2:30 p.m. EST.
During this one-hour session, VA leaders will discuss what they know about the COVID-19 vaccine and how veterans and caregivers can access the vaccine from their local VA. Since news of the vaccine, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation has called on the VA to prioritize vaccination of caregivers in coordination with veterans, as many care for high-risk, vulnerable individuals.
