Join us on Saturday, December 9th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM for the 3rd annual NSCDA-DC Wreath Laying Ceremony to Honor the Ancestors.
Additionally, the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in DC is once again taking purchase orders for their fresh Fraser Fir Wreaths – all proceeds support Mount Zion and Female Union Band Society Memorial Park (Black Georgetown Foundation) education, preservation, and restoration activities.
Please consider purchasing 14” wreaths to be placed at gravesites in the burial grounds at the event on December 9. We also encourage purchases of 26″ or 14″ wreaths for home or business holiday decoration.
Your wreaths can be picked up at Dumbarton House, 2715 Q St., NW on Wednesday, December 6, from 11 AM to 2 PM, or at the Cemeteries on Saturday, December 9 at 10:00 AM.

26” DECORATIVE WREATHS, ideal for exterior doors, entryways, and over mantels, are $52
14” DECORATIVE WREATHS, for smaller doors, windows, and indoor settings are $32 each
All orders and payments must be received by Saturday, November 11, 2023
To place your order, please send an email to dcdameswreaths@gmail.com with: Your name, phone number, and total number of Cemetery placement wreaths (at $30), number of 26″ wreaths ($52 each), and 14″ wreaths ($32 each).
The Dames will generate and send an order confirmation to you by email with the final amount due and instructions on how to pay (by either PayPal or personal check).
