With practice, anyone can improve their drawing abilities. Students will gain knowledge of line, value, tone, negative space, and perspective in this course, and you’ll leave with the assurance to start drawing every day. Each class students will be guided step-by-step through each assignment. Classes will combine drawing theory, real-world examples, worksheets, and drawing practice. Through lessons in contour drawing, positive and negative space, and generating depth, you’ll also learn how to depict what you perceive. To participate, no prior knowledge is necessary.
Classes are typically held 4 times a month. This way the students don’t lose momentum in the artwork that they’re creating, and the things that they’ve learned in the course.
