Arigatō, 10 Years at Glen Echo Park
After 10 years as artist-in-residence in the Chautauqua Tower at Glen Echo Park, J. Jordan Bruns will be taking a 3-year sabbatical to explore the world and live in Japan with his family. Before saying good-bye, Bruns will present his work in the exhibition “Arigatō, 10 Years at Glen Echo Park” in the Park’s Popcorn Gallery. Bruns is mostly known for his large scale mixed media abstract paintings, but in this exhibition, he will demonstrate the broad range of his work, including still life assemblages, alla prima figurative work, and mixed media abstractions.
