Final Performances: ‘As You Like It’
The Keegan Theatre, 1742 Church St. NW, presents a musical adaptation of “As You Like It,” Shakespeare’s dreamlike tale of faithful friends, feuding families and lovers in disguise, set in the fantastical Forest of Arden. ‘BrewLights at ZooLights’
At Friends of the National Zoo’s “BrewLights” bash, on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 9 p.m., attendees can indulge in unlimited tastings from more than 40 breweries under the twinkling lights of “ZooLights,” powered by Pepco. Union Station Holiday Celebration
Also on Thursday, Nov. 29, Union Station, 50 Massachusetts Ave. NE, will host a free holiday celebration. The event includes the 6 p.m. lighting of the Norwegian Christmas Tree — with Norwegian Ambassador Kåre R. Aas, WAMU’s Murray Horwitz, the Washington Performing Arts Children of the Gospel Choir and Santa and Mrs. Claus — a 7 p.m. pop-up concert by the Howard University Gospel Choir and other ensembles and an 8 p.m. simulcast of Yo-Yo Ma performing the Bach Cello Suites at Washington National Cathedral. ‘Demystifying Amaro’
On Friday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at Mess Hall, 703 Edgewood St. NE, Jonathan Fasano of Don Ciccio & Figli will introduce the diverse styles and flavors of amaro, the quintessential Italian liqueur. Swedish Christmas Bazaar
The Swedish Christmas Bazaar will return to House of Sweden, 2900 K St. NW, on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sponsored by the Swedish Women’s Educational Association and supported by the Embassy of Sweden, the free bazaar — featuring Swedish crafts, crystal, textiles, artwork, books, decorations, baked goods and glögg (mulled wine) — will conclude with caroling by the Santa Lucia Procession. Nationals Winterfest

National Menorah Lighting

The Eighth Day Band will perform at 3:15 p.m. At the 4 p.m. ceremony, there will be complimentary latkes, doughnuts, dreidels and menorah kits, along with music by the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own,” the Three Cantors and Dreidelman & the Macabees.
