•Please note: This Cultural Leadership Breakfast will NOT take place at the George Town Club. The location is 1310 Kitchen in the Georgetown Inn, 1310 Wisconsin Ave. NW. Parking in the Georgetown Inn is complimentary for breakfast attendees.
On Thursday, March 7, from 8 to 9:30 a.m., Jack Rasmussen, director and curator of the American University Museum at the Katzen Center since it opened in 2005, will speak at Georgetown Media Group’s first Cultural Leadership Breakfast of 2019 at 1310 Kitchen, 1310 Wisconsin Ave. NW.
Rasmussen will talk about the Corcoran Legacy Collection, acquired by the AU Museum following the dissolution of the Corcoran Gallery of Art in 2014. The first exhibition from these holdings, “The Gifts of Tony Podesta,” displaying contemporary photography and sculpture, is currently on view.
