‘Tap Dogs’ at the Kennedy Center
In Dein Perry’s global dance sensation “Tap Dogs,” an adrenaline-pumped cast turns traditional tap dancing upside-down and into the ultimate night out. Performances in the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater are: Thursday, Feb. 21, and Friday, Feb 22, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 23, at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $29 to $79. Architecture & Design Film Festival
The National Building Museum, 401 F St. NW, hosts the second annual Architecture & Design Film Festival: D.C. from Thursday, Feb. 21, to Sunday, Feb. 24. The festival features films that focus on issues of social justice and diversity such as “Frank Gehry: Building Justice” and “Enough White Teacups,” also exploring the work of Albert Frey, Renzo Piano and Barbara Stauffacher Solomon. Folger Friday: ‘Language of the Fan’ Workshop
On Friday, Feb. 22, at 6:30 p.m., the Folger Shakespeare, 201 East Capitol St. SE, will hold a pre-show workshop in which participants will delve into the nuanced language of fan gesturing with members of English Country Dance in DC. Author Talk: ‘Five for Freedom’

Julian Junior Marvin, guitarist for Bob Marley and the Wailers — who recorded and performed with Marley from the “Exodus” album until the singer’s passing in 1981 — will present his Bob Marley Tribute.
