•The National Women’s History Museum presented the 2014 Living Legacy Awards at the 4th annual NWHM de Pizan Honors at Arena Stage on Nov. 17. The de Pizan Honors recognizes trailblazing women with an award named for Christine de Pizan, who in 1405 became the first Western woman to write about women’s history and to earn a living as an author. The goal of the nonprofit National Women’s History Museum is to build a permanent museum on or near the National Mall to herald and display the collective history of American women.
