Georgetown’s Café Milano to Open in Abu Dhabi

Georgetown’s popular Prospect Street restaurant, which opened in 1992, will finally get a sibling — in the Middle East. The fashionable Café Milano will mark its second location in the world at the new 200-room Four Seasons Hotel in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Café Milano plans to open in September in the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, which itself opened just last May — the first ever Four Seasons in the UAE.

Franco Nuschese, Café Milano owner, is now in Abu Dhabi, putting the finishing touches on the project. The decor, described as bright, modern and airy, was designed by Adam Tihany of New York to be in tune with both the waterfront setting and the restaurant’s signature dishes, inspired by Italy’s Amalfi and southern coasts.
