Light of Healing Hope Foundation Feted at the German Embassy

On Sept. 19, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Peter Witttig and Mrs. Huberta von Voss-Wittig hosted a reception to honor The Light of Healing Hope Foundation.  The grief of 9/11 led Alexandra de Borchgrave to write three books of inspirational poetry and to found the charitable organization that has delivered over 26,000 books to hospitals and hospices to comfort patients and their families at a time of adversity.  Another book, “Love and Wisdom,” is scheduled for publication in 2018 with images from the Freer Gallery of Art and the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery.
