Giant Food Fires up 26th National Capital BBQ Battle

Giant Food fired up its 26th Annual Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle along Pennsylvania Avenue NW on June 23-24, as pit masters, competitors, vendors, companies and nonprofits offered food samples amid the stands and musical acts. Giant’s yearly meat and greet gathering has raised millions of dollars for area charities. Funds raised from this year’s event will benefit USO Metro and the Capital Area Food Bank.
