Happening Tonight: Georgetown Twilight Shop

As we contemplate Hurricane Florence, the Georgetown Business Improvement District asks: “When was the last time you desperately needed an omelet during a rainstorm?”
Believing that discounts of up to 50 percent are worthier of your time than stocking up on eggs, the BID is going forward with tonight’s Georgetown Twilight Shop, Thursday, Sept. 13, from 5 to 9 p.m.
In addition to deals, sips and bites at more than 70 shops and restaurants, the event includes five DJs (who have been moved inside, just in case) and free pedicab rides.
Highlights include an open wine bar and 25 percent off all purchases at Athleta, the chance to win a $1,000 shopping experience at Polo Ralph Lauren and happy hour until 9 p.m. at Ladurée.
