The Washington Performing Arts Gala harmonized the National Building Museum March 30, while applauding the presence of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and the birthday of WPA President Emeritus Douglas Wheeler. WPA President and CEO Jenny Bilfield and emcee Tamara Tunie presented the Children of the Gospel Choir and an evening of musical treasures. The many guests included Virginia Johnson of Dance Theatre of Harlem, Nina Totenberg and the family of Rep. Adam Clayton Powell (D-N.Y.)
