Celebrating Social Secretaries at Meridian

Meridian Center welcomed more than 120 guests for its annual celebration of Washington’s social secretaries and cultural attachés. To illuminate the significance of their work to advance diplomacy, the Aug. 1 event included a panel discussion on the importance of culture, hospitality and diplomacy that included Alicia Adams, David Adler, Francesca Craig, Diane Flamini and Jonathan Steffert. Like events at Meridian which reflect authentic storytelling.
