Brasserie Liberté’s Opening Party Draws Hundreds

Restaurateur Hakan Ilhan, who told The Georgetowner in an earlier article, “I think that Georgetown is on a comeback,” certainly made it look that way at the Nov. 15 opening party for Brasserie Liberté.

Hundreds showed up with their VIP invitation and enjoyed themselves, the drinks, the food and the evening. Everyone was happy to sample sliders, croque monsieur, roasted beets and more, along with celebratory champagne and puff pastries.

Ilhan greeted newcomers and friends. The new hot spot is keen to please its Georgetown neighbors and make a big impression on Washington’s restaurant scene.
