This is not really a recipe, but just a suggestion on how to elevate your s’mores experience. And I’m a huge fan of the salty/sweet combo, so I sneak it in any way I can.
What you’ll need:
- Pretzel Thins. You can find these at most supermarkets these days.
- Caramel-filled chocolate bars. Salted caramel-filled if you’re like me. I prefer Ghirardelli squares because they are the perfect size.
- Sometimes you can actually find flat mallows, which are perfect for this, but regular marshmallows will do just fine. I’m an overachiever and made homemade ones so I could get them nice and flat, but you don’t need to do that.
Toast your marshmallows to your preferred level of toastiness and sandwich the mallow and chocolate square between two pretzel thins. Enjoy and repeat.
Happy toasting!
