Just in time for Earth Day … 50 ways to love your Mother (Earth).
In The Georgetowner’s next print issue, you can read up on the global and local impact of climate change and learn what you can do to live more sustainably. We’ll cover everything eco-friendly, from spring planting ideas to composting tips. You’ll hear the latest on Rose Park’s facelift and find out when area farmers markets will open for business.
Speaking of business, as usual we’ll be on top of retail and restaurant Ins & Outs. And you can count on our reporters to keep you up to date with goings on at Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2E, the Georgetown Business Improvement District, Georgetown Main Street, the Citizens Association of Georgetown and other entities that touch on our daily lives (right up to Mayor Bowser’s office, the District Council and the federal government).
Like the rest of the country and the world, D.C. is beginning to reopen. We’ll continue to follow the progress as vaccination expands and parks, rec centers, libraries, museums and performing arts venues cautiously reopen.
The Georgetowner’s April 14 issue, colorful as always and, for Earth Day, especially green: on stands and in your mailbox next week.
