34th Annual Lombardi Gala  

6 p.m. Cocktail reception, 7-9 p.m. dinner, 9 p.m. after hours party, the Anthem at the Wharf.   

The Lombardi Gala looks a bit different this year — a new venue, no black tie needed and a shorter program with limited seating to keep social distancing. Still with cocktails, dinner and fun afterparty.

The Modern Salon Series

The first Salon of the Series is centered around “The Tales of Jean-Louis,” to be filmed as a scene in the documentary film “All the Best Jean-Louis.” Featured chefs and friends of Jean-Louis will share stories about bringing French cuisine to America and fostering its growth.

The event marks 70 years of Adventure Theatre and the first in-person event in two years.

This year’s Woolly Mammoth Gala is named “A Mammoth Renaissance,” signifying the “rebirth” of live theater and celebrating Woolly Mammoth’s work towards a “radically inclusive industry defined by unrelenting artistic interrogation.” Honoring Luis A. Miranda, Jr.

The Patrons’ Party is held at one of Georgetown’s preeminent homes. The proceeds from the party benefit the St. John’s ministries to homeless adults and children, unemployed, senior citizens and young children in area schools.

With support from family members, friends and advisers, the Atlanta-based Foundation was designed by Lewis before he died in 2020 to be carried on by his wife and in support of his passion for civic engagement.
