Georgetown Garden Tour 

Saturday, May 11  

Eight private gardens in Georgetown will be open to ticket holders from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. The 94th Annual Georgetown Garden Tour is sponsored by the Georgetown Garden Club. Tickets may be purchased for $45. On May 11, tickets will be available at Christ Church, 3116 O St. NW. Visit georgetowngardenclubdc.org.  

Georgetown Tree Forum 

Wednesday, May 15 

Join a discussion about the challenges facing Georgetown trees. A panel of tree professionals will be moderated by Georgetown BID Director of Public Space Operations Matt Millage. The event — 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the City Tavern Club, 3206 M St. NW — is hosted by Trees for Georgetown, the Georgetown BID and the City Tavern Club. Visit georgetowndc.com.  

Cultural Leadership Breakfast: Edwaard Liang   

Thursday, May 16   

Edwaard Liang, artistic director of the Washington Ballet, will be the featured speaker at The Georgetowner’s Cultural Leadership Breakfast on Thursday, May 16. Admission to the event, at Evermay estate, 1623 28th St. NW, is $40, payable in advance at georgetown.com or Eventbrite. Gates open at 8:25 a.m. for a buffet breakfast; the program will follow from 9 to 10 a.m. Parking is available, but attendees are encouraged to use ride-share apps or public transportation.  

Georgetown Village Spring Gala 

Thursday, May 16   

The Georgetown Village Spring Gala, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, will honor Dr. Sachiko Kuno at the Washington Harbour home of Nancy Taylor Bubes and Alan Bubes, 3030 K St. NW. Visit georgetown-village.org.  

CAG Concert in the Park 

Sunday, May 19 

The Citizens Association of Georgetown hosts a Spring Swing Concert in the Park, with live music, food trucks and children’s activities, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at Rose Park, 26th and P Streets NW. Visit cagtown.org.

Tudor Place Garden Party

Friends of Volta Park Cocktail Party
