Social Scene: The Phillips Collection Annual Gala

The Phillips Collection’s Annual Gala “Looking Forward, Forward Looking” celebrated the museum’s commitment to the areas of community engagement, cultural diplomacy, education, and modern and contemporary art.
This year’s theme was a reflection of The Phillips Collection’s role as a museum for the future that also supports and learns from artists. The museum also works on maintaining and getting new partnerships with communities in the D.C. area and beyond.
The 2024 event raised over $760,000 to support the museum’s initiatives. “The excellence of our public engagement is as important to who we are and what we do as the internationally celebrated excellence of our exhibitions and permanent collection,” said Vradenburg Director & CEO Jonathan P. Binstock in a press release. Binstock was our May 2023 Cultural Leadership Breakfast speaker.
