Aca-mazing! Sunset Cinema at The Wharf Continues with Pitch Perfect

The Wharf’s free Thursday night cinemas series continues at 7 p.m. this evening with the cult favorite Pitch Perfect. Movies start at 7 p.m. and hot pizza from Union Pie and Pacifico Beer from Cantina Bambina will be available. More information can be found here.
The Washington Nationals Summer Concert Series Continues
This Friday after the 6:45 p.m. Nats game vs. the Philadelphia Phillies, stick around to see Grammy-nominated Sam Hunt. Hunt’s most famous song is “Body Like a Back Road,” which came out in 2023. More information on how to get tickets can be found here.
Also This Weekend at Nats Park—Celebrate “Cat-urday”

Relax at Jazz at The Kreeger
This Saturday afternoon, check out Jazz at the Kreeger, a program in collaboration with Elijah Jamal Balbed. The series, which is now in its fifth year, is part of the Kreeger’s mission to share music across the city. Saturday’s concert will feature The Robert Papacica Quartet featuring Langston Hughes II, Eytan Schilinger-Hyman and Jonas Esser. More information on the event can be found here.
Drag Brunch Anyone?
Have some summer fun at ART DC, the rooftop bar and lounge at Arlo Washington DC, with “Drag Me to the Roof,” a rooftop drag brunch on Sunday. The event will be hosted by Bombalicious Eklaver, with performances by Michelle Levigne, Shelita Ramen and others. The brunch fare will be inspired by Japanese and Spanish flavors. If you haven’t seen it yet, you have until Sunday to head to the Smithsonian American Art Museum to see the exhibit “Pictures of Belonging: Miki Hayakawa, Hisako Hibi and Miné Okubo. The exhibit shows guests an in-depth look at the careers of the three artists, American women of Japanese descent, and their place in American art. More information can be found here.
While One Exhibit Closes, Another Opens at The National Gallery of Art
Open since August 2, a new exhibit at the National Gallery of Art celebrates American Landscapes in Watercolor from the Corcoran Collection. Check out how artists with varying backgrounds and styles painted iconic American spots in watercolor. Spanning over 200 years, guests will see the Washington Monument to the Grand Canyon, to Yosemite National Park and more. More information on the exhibit can be found here.
