Fourth of July weekend is here, and a few more cultural organizations — but far from all — are putting a toe in the water reopening-wise.
Public festivities got underway at the National Archives with a ceremonial reading of the Declaration of Independence by our Founding Fathers (and Mothers).
As ever, the Fourth of July will be celebrated in D.C. with a parade and “A Capitol Fourth.” You can also mark the nation’s 243rd birthday at the National Archives and the Rooftop at the Graham Georgetown.
Don’t wait until Wednesday to celebrate! Stars will perform at Wolf Trap and Strathmore this Friday. On Saturday, kids can honk truck horns and grownups can raise a wineglass.
