The March on Washington Film Festival (MOWFF), the longest running film festival devoted to civil rights, is back in Washington D.C. this year for its ninth annual run and just announced its official film selections today!
Since 2013, the D.C.-based festival has served as a national platform to celebrate and increase awareness of the untold heroes in the Civil Rights Movement. The MOWFF also highlights film makers and artists who use their platform on the screen to make real change in the world around them. The films being featured this year will have a focus on environmental justice for all, spotlighting the ongoing climate crisis and its disproportionate impact on communities of color.
